Saturday saw the second meeting of Sileby and BSMFC in four days, with The Badgers triumphant on Wednesday in a less than convincing 3-2 win. Although Bugbrooke welcomed back Gareth Hopkins, Lance Allen and Shaun ‘Stevie G’ Daly, the most noticeable absentee was Wednesday night’s hatrick hero Will Briscoe who, shockingly, missed the game because he had to ‘go shopping with the missus’. Club captain Tim Knowles was also missing through injury.
